We made an offer on marktplatz (the Dutch version of
Craigslist) to buy a used orange footmuff for our bugaboo stroller that was
available in Zwolle. We made a daytrip out of it. Now Brooklyn is fully
equipped for the winter months in her stroller without the need for blankets.
Zwolle is the capital city of the Overijssel, a province
east of Amsterdam and Utrecht. The city center of Zwolle is star-shaped from
its old establishment as a fortified city surrounded by a moat. The 17th
century 9 bastions that protect the city still exist.
After picking up the footmuff we stopped for lunch at a
bookstore café in a church at Waanders In de Broeren

There were some beautiful mansions along the west and south
side of the moat

We had a good time walking around and decided to
drive the hour and half home.
