Downtown Run & Sunset

March 7, 2012
Today was gorgeous. The weather couldn’t be better. Here is the sun beginning its decent from Olympic Sculpture Park during the beginning of my run.
I finally saw the Richard Serra’s “Wake” sculpture.
After running 2 miles I turned around to this miraculous beauty: downtown Seattle reflection and Mount Rainier beyond the port.
I love evening Seattle runs.
Finally I couldn’t take it anymore I just had to stop running and reflect on this blessed day and God’s amazing wonders here.

5 Mile Run Downtown

March 5, 2012

Today I ran my longest run to date on the Seattle Elliott Bay Trail waterfront: 5 miles. Still on track for my first half marathon April 29.

The most shocking thing was my bus getting off the Interstate and noticing 1.5 inches of snow on the grass and cars in Mill Creek! Here’s Chance on the back deck the next morning!
I thought we moved away from the crazy weather fluctuation of the Carolinas where it is snowing one day and a high of 60 the next!
