Juneau, Alaska

August 23-26, 2013

Friday after work we went to Seatac Airport. Our friend Dave Howard, who works for Alaska Airlines in Juneau, got us buddy passes to fly up for the weekend while Jason and Emily Wright were there in Alaska visiting.

Saturday we went to Alaskan Brewery for some free beer tastings.

Later that afternoon we went to the Red Dog Saloon for some duck farts, well make that 4
shots and Emily with a salt shaker.
Beers at Red Dog Saloon

Red Dog Saloon has notorious gunfighter Wyatt Earp’s weapon which was checked at the U.S. Marshall’s in Juneau, June 20, 1900. He departed from Nome on June 29th before the opening of the Marshall’s office.
Saturday night we went out for a nice dinner at Twisted Fish in Juneau.
Sunday the rain subsided enough for us to go kayaking in Auke Bay
Alexis created a seafood feast for dinner, Alaskan king crab, Alaskan salmon and all…
Thanks again for another great trip to the ‘Last Frontier’!
