A month ago we bought our anniversary present: bedroom
furniture. We’ve been looking for almost 5 years now. I have been storing my
clothes in Tupperware storage containers while Joe had an old dresser from when
he was a kid. We’ve used old living room end tables as bedside tables. The new
set we chose is made from bamboo so it’s a more sustainable product than most
wood furniture due to how rapidly it regrows. We got a queen size bed frame
with lots of underneath storage, 2 small bedside tables, and a dresser to me
and a chest for Joe. It’s nice to finally have a dresser for my clothes.
Joe must really love me to splurge on “something that
dies” for our anniversary.
